Christmas (so far...)

We cheated and opened some presents early. Here's what I've racked up so far:

- A BabyCakes cake pop maker
- A new winter coat (it's teal and has a fuzzy "fur" rim on the hood)
- Some jeans (a size smaller than what I was wearing... yay me!)
- Lil Angel by Harajuku Lovers
- A clip on pony tail (This is perfect cause I like looking cute but I'm too lazy to actually do my hair lol)

I also got a laptop from my awesome boyfriend, some body spray, an owl bracelet, feather earrings of almost every color you could think of, flowers for my hair (I'm an Elizabeth Short fan,) a couple pair of super cute toe socks (I typed it into Google images to find em and show y'all but all I ended up getting was porn... you pervs, lol.)

Freedom?

In just two hours, Casey Anthony MAY have on her street clothes and get wisked away into the world by her Defense team to an “undisclosed location” that would make sure of the utmost safety for their client and the public.

Even the Jury agreed that they dont believe that Casey is innocent (I’m not sure anyone does.) I respect their verdict though, based on legal FACTS (or lack thereof) but at the same time, one has to wonder if Casey is going to end up being a threat to society. What are you thoughts? Do you think she has the “murder bug” in her? Do you think she’ll do it again, or was what happened to Caylee truely an unfortunate accident or, if it was intentional, maybe just an isolated event? Tough to tell…

Bummer for you, Nancy!

When I heard about them finding a badly decomposed body of a woman, my first thought was that it was the pretty blonde college student, Lauren Spierer who went missing right at a month ago. The news about the body came the same day as the Casey Anthony verdict. Since Nancy Grace wont have much to go on now that it's over, I just assumed that she would relish in the idea of a lead on a new morbid story that she could twist, overexpose and exploit. Sadly for Nancy, but lucky for the friends of family of Lauren, that wont be the case, atleast not this time....

ABC News: Lauren Spierer Search: Indiana Body Not Missing College Student

The body found in an Indiana creek Sunday is not that of missing college student Lauren Spierer, the Marion County Coroner's Office in Indianapolis said today.

"It appears as though this is an African-American female and not that of Lauren Spierer," Chief Deputy Coroner Alfie Ballew said.

The autopsy is ongoing and the coroner's office will work with the Indianapolis Police Department to determine the victim's identity and cause of death. While the process, which will involve microscopic sampling, might take up to several weeks, the cause of death might never be determined.

Fact or Fiction?

Psychic tip about a "mass grave" turns out to be a hoax...

“Texas police were investigating whether a tip-off from a psychic about a mass grave containing dozens of dismembered bodies was in fact a hoax after an intense search found no bodies.”

Even though THIS case turned out to be fake, do you believe in the validity of psychics?

MY THOUGHTS: Los Vaqueros

Los Vaqueros
1537 N Glenstone Ave
Springfield, MO 65803

Eh... it was alright. I actually cant think of anything bad to say about it (but on the same note, I cant think of much nice to say either.)

I got the chicken chimichanga (deep fried burrito.) There was some kind of queso dip over the top, optional lettuce, pico and guac on the side and it came w/ beans and rice. There was a LOT of chicken in it (same with my Michael's chimicanga except his was made with pieces of beef.) I liked the guacamole (I dont think I've ever had any that I HAVENT liked though, to be honest.) The rice and beans were pretty good. Better than most I've had in Springfield, I guess (they always seem kinda flavorless nomatter where I go...)

We had a take out order and they included a HUGE bag of tortilla chips and a cup of homemade salsa, which was nice. I really wasnt too blown away by the salsa though. Tasted a little too watered down and it didnt have any spice at all to it. Very fresh though, I could tell that for sure.

It was not as good as Mexican Villa, better than Maria's and about on the same level as Purple Burrito (to put it in perspective, lol)
